Blondes Have More Fun shines a light on pancreatic cancer, bringing awareness to one of the most aggressive and under-recognised cancers through the power of live performance. Beyond the stage, every ticket contributes to pancreatic cancer research through PanKind – The Australian Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
This partnership is especially meaningful to the team, as the show’s star, Liz Testa, has a personal connection to the cause, her mother, who is also an investor in the production, is currently living with pancreatic cancer. In a rare case, she was diagnosed early, allowing for valuable extra time - something that highlights just how important early detection can be.
The show is, and will continue to be, performed in support of Liz’s mother and the broader cause, honouring her strength and resilience while helping raise awareness and contribute to research, with the hope that no family will have to face this journey in the future
Pancreatic cancer remains one of the most aggressive and under-recognised cancers, often diagnosed late and with low survival rates. Through this initiative, the aim is to help raise awareness and support ongoing research in a positive and uplifting way.
While Blondes Have More Fun is first and foremost a high-energy, feel-good entertainment experience, it also offers audiences the opportunity to contribute to an important cause.
